Outboard Antifoul

I have finally decided to leave my outboard in the well of my moored Shrimper, to make life a little easier, so plan to antifoul its leg and prop. I have purchased some International Trilux Prop-o-Drev antifoul and the recommended primer, as this seemed to be about the best product I could find for the purpose.
Does anybody have any experience of doing this job? Are there any pitfalls that I should be aware of? Do I also need some antifoul grease, or can my engine live without it??
Any shared thoughts would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Henry
Oh yes, can anybody recommend an outboard lock? I realise that it's a fairly pointless device, given the way in which the engine's attached to a Shrimper, but the insurance company mandate it I believe...
My 6 hp Tohatsu has been anti fouled with Prop-o-Drev and stays down in the water. It had 3+ coats.
Some growth forms. Its not particularly good. This year I am trying Trilux brushed on as a trial.
As a comparism the hull (Micron Extra) gets coated with sludge but has never had any growth.
Beware anemones or other growth in the water intake grill - clean regularly !
